More about me (academic info) I'm currently a postdoc researcher at UCSB Computer Security Lab, working on different system security topics (mostly web, intrusion detection, binary analysis and reverse engineering). I got a Ph.D. in computer science at Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and a master in Information Technology at CEFRIEL. I'm also a member of the ShellPhish group, that WON the CTF competition at DEFCON 2005 (have a look here for more info).

Even more about me (social info) I spend too much time in front of a monitor I go surfing everytime I can I try to rock-climb at least once a week I like scuba-diving (but I don't go very often) I juggle balls to relax I like reading a good book I like movies: everything from Tim Burton, Von Trial, Forman, Tarantino, Leone, Miazaki, Chaplin, Coen Brothers, Woody Allen, Hitchcock... However, I hate scarry movies I like the ocean (when the surf is big but also when it's flat and shiny) I like B&W photography I like almost any rock band from the '60s and '70s, something from the '80 and '90, and all the majors italian singers/songwriters (De Andre', De Gregori, Guccini, Conte...). Some classical, once in a while. I hate Rap, Hip-Hop and Latin American. I love Good food, red wine and good beers (and just in case you're wondering, Bud Light is not a good beer) What's running on my computers
